Results for Bellator 159 – Upsets that CRUSHED my Bankroll
Well, this was another night that had me wishing I went for the underdogs. Underdogs have been PROVEN to be very profitable over the long term because of the unpredictable nature of MMA. I did not take tonight’s bets seriously, it was more of a degenerative betting night for me, so I’m not really affected by it. With that being said, I really do regret passing on Taimanglo as a +900 dog, the oddsmakers really messed that one up. No one should be that much of a dog in MMA, everyone has a puncher’s (or in this case grappler’s) chance in the cage. Don’t be surprised if you see me betting dogs more often from here on out.
My safest bet was the one that actually won. The other two were wild cards, with Bruna Vargas having no recent pro fights and Rickels with a weak chin going up against a heavy hitter. So I can’t say those surprised me.
